LUBBOCK, Texas (PRESS RELEASE) – Redeemer Lutheran Church will offer a Mini-VBS and school supply giveaway on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Sign up starts at 9:30 a.m. inside the parish hall (enter on the east side of the building by the parking lot). The first 100 kids with a parent or guardian to sign up get a free school supply pack.
The supplies include:
- 48 pencils
- 2 boxes of 24-ct crayons
- 1 box of markers, 10 ct
- 12 glue sticks
- 4 dry erase markers
- 2 pink erasers
- 1 binder pencil pouch
- 1 pair 5-inch scissors
- 1 box watercolor paints
- 4 spiral notebooks
- 5 composition notebooks
- 1 pencil sharpener
- 1 pair headphones
The packs will also include an ESV Bible for kids.
The community is welcome but those who live in the Heart of Lubbock Neighborhood are especially invited. The theme for our instruction is John 3:16. Parents or guardians are invited and encouraged to participate alongside the kids in instruction, crafts and music.
